About

The short version

Mathematics student and researcher based in Dinajpur, Bangladesh, working across pure theory, computation, and teaching.

I am an enthusiastic researcher and aspiring scientist exploring fractional stochastic differential equations in complex nonlinear dynamics. I study wave propagation, qualitative behaviours, and analyze the stability and bifurcation of complex nonlinear dynamical systems. I am passionate about connecting theoretical mathematics to practical problems through precise and innovative solutions.

I'm currently reading for a B.Sc. (Honours) in Mathematics at Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University, Dinajpur, and working as a Research Assistant to Prof. Dr. Md. Tarikul Islam in the Department of Mathematics — researching nonlinear PDEs, soliton theory, and fractional stochastic models, with three papers out of that work so far.

That same computational instinct carries into applied work: modelling flood dynamics in Dinajpur with a fractional stochastic PDE, and mapping land use change across Gazipur District using satellite imagery and machine learning. I like problems that force theory to meet real, noisy data.

Alongside research, I tutor mathematics and spend a fair amount of time teaching myself things adjacent to my field — quantum mechanics and computing, operations research — usually by writing the explanation I wish I'd had, in Bengali, with the English terms kept intact for later reading. Outside of that: reading, gardening, driving, hiking, and travelling.

Focus areas

What I actually spend time on

Theory

Fractional PDEs & Solitons

Stochastic and fractional-order effects on soliton stability, amplitude, and growth.

Computation

Numerical Modelling

Maple, MATLAB, and Python — turning symbolic solutions into working, debuggable code.

Applied

GIS & Remote Sensing

Satellite imagery, classification, and change prediction with Earth Engine and ArcGIS Pro.

Teaching

Mentoring & Tutoring

Designing practice material that actually matches how a student is progressing.

Beyond research

Things I've taught myself well enough to teach back

  • Quantum Mechanics & Quantum Computing

Self-directed study — two volumes, Bengali

A structured, textbook-depth guide written from first principles, with English keywords preserved throughout so the material connects directly to research papers later.

  • Operations Research

Self-directed study — eleven core methods, Bengali

A walkthrough of eleven core OR methods, each with worked MATLAB and Python solutions alongside the Bengali explanation.
